The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), major in Financial Management, of St. Mary’s College of Catbalogan prepares students for careers in corporate finance, investment management, banking, credit, trust operations, insurance, foreign exchange, money markets, capital markets, and related financial fields. Based on CHED standards, the program develops students’ knowledge of financial institutions, financial theories, analytical tools, and decision-making approaches needed in a dynamic business environment. Guided by the Transformative RVM Ignacian Pedagogy, the program promotes active, collaborative, and reflective learning that connects business concepts to real-life situations, strengthens ethical judgment, and forms graduates who can respond responsibly to local, national, and global financial realities.

Program Graduate Outcomes

Graduates of the BSBA program are expected to:

  1. Complete understanding of the concepts, principles and the theories of Financial Management.
  2. Help the students to seek employment and assume entry-level Jobs or position of responsibility as graduate of business administration majoring in financial management.
  3. Prepare the students to pursue a quality education or graduate studies in business.
