The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) program of St. Mary’s College of Catbalogan is designed to prepare future teachers for the elementary level through strong foundations in content, pedagogy, assessment, curriculum development, and field-based practice. Based on CHED standards, the program develops highly motivated and competent educators who can respond to the diverse needs of learners across learning areas and create meaningful, developmentally appropriate, and inclusive learning experiences. Guided by the Transformative RVM Ignacian Pedagogy, the program promotes active, reflective, collaborative, and value-oriented learning that connects educational theory with classroom practice, strengthens professional and ethical responsibility, and forms teachers who serve with competence, compassion, and commitment to the growth of children and communities.
