The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) program of St. Mary’s College of Catbalogan develops graduates who can analyze complex problems and create ethical, practical, and socially responsive computing solutions. Grounded in outcome-based education and guided by the Transformative RVM Ignacian Pedagogy, the program builds strong foundations in computing, mathematics, software design, systems thinking, and problem solving through active, collaborative, and reflective learning. Through classroom instruction, laboratory work, project-based learning, research, and industry exposure, students are prepared for careers in software development, systems analysis, web and application development, cybersecurity, networking, data-related fields, and other areas of computing.
