1. Individual Inventory
The Individual Inventory Service involves the systematic collection and organization of relevant student information such as personal background, academic records, interests, and developmental needs. All data are kept strictly confidential and are used as a basis for understanding each student holistically. This service supports counselors and school personnel in providing appropriate interventions, monitoring student progress, and facilitating informed guidance, counseling, and referrals.
2. Information and Orientation
This service ensures that students, parents, and stakeholders are well-informed about the school’s programs, policies, procedures, and services. Orientation activities are conducted to guide students in their transition into the school environment, helping them understand academic expectations, institutional values, and available opportunities such as scholarships and student support programs. It also promotes awareness of various Guidance Office initiatives and other school services.
3. Counseling
Counseling is the core of the Guidance Program, providing students with a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space to express their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Through individual and group counseling, students are guided in addressing personal, social, emotional, and academic challenges. The service aims to enhance self-awareness, develop coping skills, strengthen decision-making abilities, and promote positive values and behavior. Regular counseling sessions are conducted, including initial and exit counseling, as well as follow-up sessions when necessary.
4. Assessment and Testing
The Guidance Office administers standardized and validated assessment tools to measure students’ cognitive abilities, academic performance, interests, and aptitudes. These assessments provide valuable insights that aid in proper student placement, career guidance, and identification of strengths and areas for improvement. Results are used as a basis for interventions, academic support, and informed decision-making regarding students’ educational and career paths.
5. Wellbeing, Wellness, and Enhancement
This service focuses on promoting students’ mental health and overall well-being. It includes programs and activities that support emotional, social, moral, and spiritual development. Through collaboration with faculty, staff, and student leaders, the Guidance Office provides opportunities for leadership development, peer support, and values formation. Initiatives such as homeroom guidance sessions, wellness activities, and career and vocation guidance help students build resilience, maintain balance, and prepare for future responsibilities.
6. Evaluation and Research
To ensure the effectiveness and continuous improvement of its services, the Guidance Office conducts regular evaluations and research activities. Feedback from students and other stakeholders is gathered to assess the quality and impact of programs. Results are used to enhance services, improve school processes, and contribute to the development of better instructional and support systems aligned with the institution’s vision and mission.
7. Follow-Up
The Follow-Up Service monitors the progress and development of students over time. It ensures that interventions and support provided are effective and responsive to students’ needs. This includes tracking academic performance, personal growth, and adjustment within the school environment. The service also helps identify students who may require additional assistance, including referrals and access to scholarship opportunities or other support programs.
